Is It Really True?
Is there a place to go to,
To escape the wrath of God?
Is there someone to protect us
From His fierce iron rod?
Is there a way to follow
That will lead us into rest?
Is it really true that Jesus
Is the very best?
Is there a judgement day a coming
When man's deeds shall all be tried?
Is there someone to defend us and
Stand there by our side?
Is there a path that leads us
To stand on God's right hand?
Is it really true that Jesus
Does understand?
Is there a day a coming when this
Old world shall cease?
Is there someone to uphold us
And lead us into peace?
Is there a trumpet call to harken
When those in Christ shall rise?
Is it really true that Jesus shall meet
Us in the skies?
