"Supporting the Light"
How Long?
Each time I look around me
At this world's treasure store.
I find I stand in awe aghast,
When e'er I think it o'er.
That God saw fit to make
In all its wondrous ways,
This world so bright so beautiful
And worthy of our praise.
But then I look around me
And see what man has done,
For although he's come a long long way.
He’s a long long way to come.
Before he learns to live in peace
Considering each other.
And seeks in harmony and love
The well-being of his brother.
