"Supporting the Light"

A short note about this song...

I wrote this song in March 2005 while staying with my friend Jesus! Yes, Pastor Jesus of IBCA, Anapolis, Goias, Brazil. Jesus is the pastor of a busy Baptist church and I recall that he had been usually busy during this week due to a forth-coming annual Mission’s Conference.

I was in my room at the time and had picked up my guitar to spend some time just worshiping the Lord. Thinking of worship, I soon found myself singing this line of invitation – Come, come, and worship the Saviour. The mood was quietly peaceful and I gently waltzed my way to the Saviour, declaring – Jesus is His Name!

Having decided that I liked what I had written, I then had a problem, how will I remember it the next morning, as I had no means of recording it! Or had I? I soon heard a familiar quiet voice saying, ‘Use your digital camera!’ So, thanks to the versatility of my trusty Nikon Coolpix 3200, we have this lovely little worship song today.

If you would like to use it in your church services, please click HERE for a guitar chorded version.

We would love to hear from you if you decide to use this song in your worship service.

I hope that you enjoy it!

Thank You.

AM.

Come ,Come And Worship The Saviour

Come, come and worship the Saviour.

Come, come and fall on your knees.

Come and bow before His glory,

Come and offer Him your praise.

Come and bow before the Saviour,

Jesus is His name.

(Repeat)

End:

Holy is His name.

Jesus is His name.
